The Cornwall Inn is host to both casual and formal destination weddings year round. We recognize that no two weddings are alike--- from intimate fireside elopements to larger elegant affairs surrounded by our lush gardens, our onsite coordinator works with you, your family or event planner to ensure that your special event is uniquely tailored to meet your requirements. We pride ourselves on being flexible, affordable and accommodating and most of all, delivering an experience and memories that you will cherish for years to come. We listen to our clients and work with them every step of the way, so that there are no surprises on the big day.
The Inn is steeped in history with its iron trestle bridge, stonewalls, rustic chapel, flowing stream and ever changing seasonal gardens that allow for our clients to pick any time of the year for their wedding. We create a relaxed and comfortable environment for your guests and family while maintaining a fully staffed and professional operation that provides you with a peace of mind and confidence that everything will be taken care of.On any special day, we only have one event on the property, your wedding. There is no one and no other bride or groom competing for your time or your space, the inn is all yours to enjoy. Your special day will belong to you and your guests so that you can all share the happiness, romance and love that you so richly deserve.
Lynee Porter, the proprietor and her daughter Lauren, the wedding and event coordinator, maintain 5-Star reviews on www.tripadvisor.com. They pride themselves on being creative but also practical. On your very first visit, you will receive a tour; discuss your ideas and all that goes along with a well-developed and well-communicated wedding plan including a price estimate. Our own employee, a family member is your on-site coordinator who is responsible for every fork, every spoon, every chair and every flower, from the big white tent to the fireplace, from the catering to the cake cutting, we work the details with you or your own event planner or other service provider. If you need help with a caterer, photographer, DJ, minister or wedding officiant, transportation, extra rooms for out of town guests or a florist, we will gladly share our contacts with you at no charge.
Our approach and philosophy to bridal showers, engagement parties or rehearsal dinners follows along the same way as it does for weddings, so whether it’s an entire 3-day affair or just the wedding itself we hope we can share it with you. For families on a budget, we offer very affordable Friday and Sunday options, even during the most sought after summer and fall weekends.

Elopement Package
The Elopement package is designed to accommodate the bride and groom and, two attendants. The package includes the officiate, flower bouquets for the bride and her attendant, boutonnieres for the groom and his attendant, ceremony music, ceremony photography, a small wedding cake, and a two night stay in the Wedding Suite ( a three room suite with private entrance, Jacuzzi and fireplace).
Couples are welcomed to their suite by a rose petal bath, fresh flower arrangement, Gourmet Chocolate and Fruit Basket and complimentary beverages. A romantic gourmet dining experience is also included. As an option it can be prepared by our guest chef (Table-side in your suite) or choose a gift certificate to one of our recommended local restaurants. Gourmet breakfast is provided on each morning of your stay.
While the elopement package is really intended to accommodate only 4 guests, we can expand it to accommodate as many as 10 guests. The additional per guest charge for up to 10 guests is $15 per guest. Bouquets can be customized to suit the color and style preference of the couple. Flowers that are typical to bouquets in this package are, Spray roses, Chrysanthemums (button, daisy, spider, etc) Dianthus (carnations), Stock, Seasonal Fillers, Hydrangea (depending on the season) Asiatic Lillies, etc. In some instances the flowers desired are not in season or are cost prohibitive. In such a situation, we would inform the couple of the added cost of using such flowers and allow them to make a decision about incorporating them.
Photography is also included in the package. The photographer will take pictures during the ceremony and also photos of the couple after the ceremony. All photos taken are released to the couple on a CD so that they can reproduce the pictures as they wish.
Wedding night dining experience is tailored to fit the food preferences of the couple. Menus selections are reviewed and determined in advance of the evening.
